Wow. In this age of the highly divisive misfortunes of Identity Politics, a call for reason.

Thank you.

When I was a kid in the 1960’s, growing up in a small Kootenay Town in British Columbia, the American channels from Spokane would broadcast American Bandstand and Shindig or Hullabaloo and later Soul Train.

The Canadian version was the CBC’s ‘Let’s Go’.

All I cared about in those days were the songs that made me want to dance and the new moves I learned from the dancers.

Period.
