When the Rapture is just around the corner, and Evangelical zeal purports that Trump was just part of God's plan, then a fawning sycophant like Pence, with limited facial theatricality to express anything more than canine adoration, will manifest itself.

Pence wasn't even a good straight man. In reality, he was nothing more than a 'claqueur', a professional applauder, a stern foil to Trump's bombastic persona.

Neither deserves to darken the world stage ever again.
