What?

You actually believe that he turned a blind eye?

I still go with Sun Tzu. Which your country and mine make mandatory reading at our military academies:

"All war is deception. "

Now if you were to quote Von Clausewitz, then Netanyahu has failed in the last part.

"Overcome the enemy's armed power, take possession of material and other sources of strength, and win public support."

By declaring that the UN is irrelevant, or that public support in Israel and the US is all he needs, he is ignoring the fact that people with access to multiple sources of information, can spot propaganda a mile away.

While I am loathe to quote Goering, he did say this, often misquoted, in an interview before his suicide:

"It is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.

Lastly, you make sense.

But conflating criticism of Israel, some justified, others as you point out not, is not Anti-Semitism...it's an easy way out of reflection.

Instead, please take a page out of my country's need to deal with a painful land-grabbing racist past by starting a Truth and Reconciliation process with our Indigenous Peoples. Twas a page taken from Nelson Mandela's handbook on how a nation can heal.

How to start?

With a statement to Palestinians with a hard truth:

They had nothing to do with European genocide and should not have had to pay, and continue to pay, for it.
