Well said Anne, the baboon scene was not incongruous. Rather, it was an apt metaphor.

I thought we were the baboons, bloodthirsty and tribal and full of rage…gifted with celestial intelligence, cursed in the body of an animal that knows it’s going to die.

And so some of us, at least not all, ever so hungry, will kill in order to satiate our needs right bloody now: no matter what the venue, no matter what the cost.

And the size of the cage is an ever diminishing earth.
