True and as you opine, an important distinction. The main difference of course is power. I stand corrected.

But my point was arguing against ‘Woke Culture’ or SJW et al, applying broad and sweeping accusatory brush strokes of racism, and not prejudice, against all people whose main sin is the colour of their skin. Oh yes, and the colour of their ancestors’ skins too…but not too far back though, because all of our ancestors were purportedly Black or dark-skinned.

It’s the frightening tenet that holds all White people are potential racists. It’s in their nature some actually state and they must shut up, among other things, and atone…in perpetuity I suppose.

And then, when daring to point out illogical or nonsensical aspects of said brush strokes — historically decontextualized or not — one is branded with whatever red-hot iron is handy be that privilege or fragility or gender…and God help him or her or they who have a job, especially a high profile one.

IOW, you shouldn’t need a pen name. More’s the pity that you do as your logic speaks volumes in a time when rational thought is often dismissed.
