There is irony afoot in this statement.
On one hand, using vile triggering imagery to draw attention to a lamentable fact in need of open discussion is not just inexcusable but also counterintuitive.
It allows for 'blinders' to placed on those who wholeheartedly support Israel's unconscionable ethnic cleansing on the low end of a murderous spectrum, to genocidal slaughter on the high end.
They can then hide behind a soul-searing self-righteous smokescreen: all criticism of the State of Israel is anti-semitic.
IOW, if any of my 'siblings' were to purposely target Gazan children with sniper's bullets, or sodomize Palestinian 'prisoners', then protest outside the prison holding the IDF perpetrators, screaming that the Palestinian deserved it, or to spout the IDF's right to rape from the Knesset floor...
...then I'd demand that they change their last name.
