It has become so confusing with such a whirlwind of information, lost in a gale-force of dis and mis, that at times that I feel trapped in the cellar whilst some tornado passes overhead...only this time it appears to have stalled, the doors coming apart at the hinges.

Heard Eric Weinstein talking about the current malaise as being a hybrid civil war. He didn't elucidate enough but the gist was that the unraveling of foreign soft power (like USAID) and hard power (CIA) to say nothing of the Pentagon, has pitted the disenfranchised and purposely ill-educated masses against the oligarchs and their bureaucratic elite enablers.

Mentions the Truman show and A Few Good Men.

Anyway, it was an interesting listen especially when Bolten, whom I would trust as an adder fanged, shared thoughts from his war hawk manual, pages taken from Machiavelli to Clausewitz to Sun Tzu...with maybe a chapter taken from the Jesuits, one of the most sophisticated intelligence gathering networks the world has ever seen.
