Thanks for the shout out, Kabir.
Really informative writing. It's interesting to note that in Chinese the vagina is often called the Jade Gate.
Of course Jade is considered the metaphor of longevity, wisdom and purity: the stone of immortality through the birthing of the next generation if you will.
As to Michelangelo: I used to show my English class his 'Birth of Adam' as depicted on the Sistine Chapel.
Adam is already alive...reclining and lethargic, awaiting the touch of Jehovah with help from his minions.
The purple hued outline surrounding Jehovah, as you've probably already read, is the outline of the human brain.
So my first essay question was 'what's the impending touch all about?'
Is it a divine neural synapse, perhaps a spark of consciousness?
So don't look to the pulpit, look up and see past or beyond the restrictive dogma that would do your thinking for you.
If you want to look into another Michelangelo enigma: look a little closer at Jesus in 'The Pieta's' lap and arms.
Really enjoyed the writing Kabir, thanks again.
