If I were teaching today, I would have fallen under the axe when using Boyden's 'Three Day Road' or 'The Orenda', The Fisher King Myth and Carl Jung on religion.

I used Machiavelli's 'The Prince' and Sun Tzu's 'The Art of War' to highlight 9-11, and a slew of other supposedly oppressive voices: all to help my students hone their critical thinking skills.

Hell, I'd have even used the highly controversial Dr. Jordan Peterson.
