One should detest the use of the name Karen as much as one should the use of the name Buckwheat.
It's intellectually effete...it's trite and unoriginal but even worse, its usage is like a sticky tribal bondage: see, we are so morally superior, and therefore together, that we can, in the thrall of virtue signalling, point to the centre of the circus ring and laugh at the white Karen or the buck-toothed black kid.

In short, name-calling belongs it appears in the bully toolkit of the current occupant of the White House and not in civil discourse and most certainly not on Medium.
