Liam,
Around 2008 or so, In Canada, a reporter decided to investigate sexual assault court cases in one courtroom over one year.
What she found was that the majority of cases involved boys, those who were betrayed by coaches, priests or relatives and neighbours.
Some in the feminist movement were appalled by her decision to go public with such a "biased" report.
I am trying to find her report, but she replied, "I just followed the docket...you know, what was there."
More recently?
"In the male sample, 70% stated that they did not report adult sexual abuse/assault, while 59% of those in the female sample and 56% of those in the Northern sample did not report it." (https://canada.justice.gc.ca/eng/rp-pr/jr/jf-pf/2017/may02.html
And yet, still the narrative continues. Only girls and women are victims.
