J Byt:

Ever wonder why people would be willing to give up their lives for a cause and then figure out why they are fighting?

Or were you being obtuse in order to write satire?

Both Intifadas were in response to the illegal settlements, the failure to respect International law and return land captured in the '67 war, and the second class citizenship foisted upon them for decades.

They were tired of being occupied and dispossessed.

So, want to stop the violence?

Stop stealing more land.

Stop settling the West Bank, stop corrupting, infiltrating and disunifying the Palestinians.

Stop killing them and imprisoning their children.

Stop destabilizing your neighbours...you know, the ones in Lebanon, and Syria and Iraq, especially when they are tired of Israeli transgressions.

Oh yeah...and quit bombing them.

Otherwise Israel will go the route of another nuclear armed Apartheid regime.

The International community will become weary of the anti-semitic card being played in response to justified war crimes accusations.

Most nations will become fatigued by Israel's claim to the ultimate victim status -- in perpetuity --no less: 'how could you call us genocidal when we traditionally have suffered more! The Holocaust. You must hate all Jews.

Lastly, the Israeli people must rise up and demand better leadership or the pariah label will stick and so it should.
