I caught Bob Dylan when he opened for Elton John after a Tracy Chapman short set.
The juxtaposition in terms of the vocal abilities between Dylan and Chapman and then with John was so glaring that it lamentably turned me off Dylan's incredible talents, still believe they're far less vocal and far more lyrical, for years.
To me, it was so painful to hear that it seemed as if Dylan needed a sinuplasty.
'Ya all gotta serve somebody', even though recorded I believe in the late 70's, and which I first saw in the early 90's, brought me back.
I will listen to Bob Dylan live 1966. Thanks for that.
Also Talking Heads...incredible mind-bending talent.
