How about first recognizing that the number one sexual ‘toy’ is modelled after the penis?
Then such a statement like “male-catering, gadget-heavy sex does?” may help you confront your entitled sexism.
How about sex robots for hideously wounded soldiers or burn victims or paralyzed people?
Or how about sex robots for autism spectre disordered men and women who may never have the social skills to attract a mate: especially since A.I. can now be downloaded into sex dolls?
Since the sex act including foreplay is on average under 15 mins, what about a game of chess or a discussion on the merits of early existentialism with translated versions of Camus or Sartre for post-coital bliss or even learning a language?
The point is that nurturing exploratory sexual interactions can be programmed into a sex robot.
But of course there is the very real problem of enabling a sociopathic tendency into criminal behaviour.
To me, that is admittedly, the importance of metaphors aside, a very real danger.
