When Palestinian's peaceful protests fail, like the first Intifada, or 2018's The Great March of Return, wherein Israeli Snipers, part of the 'most moral army in the world', targeted the knees of children or older protestors, some 200 or so who were killed, then of course Martin Luther King's or Mahatma Gandhi's lessons on non-violent protest will result in a vicious attack like Oct. 7th.

It's almost as if the 'poor Israel' vacuum you write of happened in some mythological state, wherein the consequences for decades of violent suppression, or settler incursions, are just bad thoughts caught in some Levantine anti-semitic breeze.

What's next, 'leave us alone' so we can further take over more land in the West Bank and arrogantly and illegally call it 'Judaea and Samaria', and in the process ensure that the offshore oil of Gaza and under the West Bank is Israel's?

Regardless, I'm not sure what creed stipulates that the traumatized can traumatize others with impunity.

That should be the work of psychologists and psychiatrists. Indeed, Carl Jung did write about it and called it shadow projection.
