I quoted the sagacity of one Israeli. Since only 73.6% of Israelis are followers of the Jewish faith, or at least purport to be, I did not think of Daniel Bar Tal as necessarily being one.
Rather, his study corroborated the findings of countless academics on the siege mentality, and solidified my perspective on one of more tragic parts of the Israeli psyche.
