Aza, your poetry is so evocative.

I was starting my day and turned away from the usual minimizing MSM to Al Jazeera.

Sat down to tie up my shoes, might as well watch a bit.

It was a 30 minute documentary following a Palestinian ambulance driver avoiding shrapnel and bombs to help the injured.

One was the young boy with half of his buttock ripped apart, bleeding from an arm wound that got my 'stomach churning'.

And then, pulled from the rubble, the small child unable to open its eyes carried to one of the last hospitals still functioning.

To screams of grief. And this child, its eyes dusted shut, is delivered as yet another sorry load.

Stood up tear-stained to walk away from such travesty to trip on the laces.

Of course Netanyahu is going to ban Al Al Jazeera.

Can't have Israelis bear witness to such crimes.

Thanks for your writing,

Daryl
