"...and not the other way around?" is what happens when you empower and enable and entitle victimhood beyond accountibility.

Absolutism reigns supreme in any orthodoxy beyond reproach and I am surprised that you have not been branded a heretic, or worse like Margaret Atwood, a bad feminist.

One of the tenants in full display at the Oscars is the ludicrous assertion that women, unlike men, are not fully human: they lack a dark side.

And therefore are above reproach.

Sexual assaults by women is the last bastion of non-egalatarian sexism.

Witness the recent revelations after the Catholic Church 2021 sexual abuse investigation in France.

More than 216,000 children, the majority of them boys between the ages of 10 to 13, were sexually abused.

And not just by priests and associated 'coaches' or instructors who had access to children.

Nuns too.

The lack of empathy for boys and men is staggering.

Thank you for writing this.

Your post reminds me of the courage it took for feminist pyschologist Dr. Elizabeth Loftus to help put an end to the mid-80's to early 90's, misandric moral panic/witch hunt, seductively entitled 'repressed memory syndrome' and all the men, and some women, who were falsely accused of, and imprisioned for, sexual assault of their children.
